About

Our Members’ Event will be taking place online again for 2022.

We’re working hard to make sure we can still share an important space together, virtually, and we’re using feedback from last year to make improvements. This year, we are holding the formal Annual General Meeting (AGM) separately from our Members’ Event sessions. We will notify members of the AGM date, when it is confirmed, by email.

This is a member-only event. Our network is made up of user-led groups, people who live with mental ill-health, trauma and distress, mental health activists and researchers, ally groups, and partners. Signing up is free. You must join as a member or supporter before registering to attend the Members’ Event sessions and the AGM when it is held – you can join the network via our main website.

About NSUN

NSUN is a membership organisation and a network of community groups and people who have lived experience of mental distress, ill-health and trauma who come together to create, challenge, and campaign. As a user-led organisation, all of our staff members and trustees have lived experience.

We work to redistribute power and resource in mental health. We do this by:

  • Building, amplifying and distributing the knowledge that is held by people with lived experience
  • Creating collaborative spaces with members and partners to build momentum and sustainability for the work
  • Building an alternative approach to mental health policy work
  • Working with funders and acting as a microfunder to redistribute resources to grassroots user-led groups, as well as working to build capacity and sustainability in other, non-material ways.
